It seems the most popular job choice among my group is Banking!!! Even my bestie is considering it now!
Hmmm... is it that good ? Well for girls we can dress up & work in nice town environment. But within the bank there are lots of different positions & departments. Heard loans is good....yes-No??? Anyway when i followed my mum to the bank, I see many young possibly new bankers (do we call them that?), always hanging around in the front around the info counter. They are not manning the counter, dont know what's their job though. Openning accounts? Marketing fiancial products like unit trust or bonds? Anyway, these ladies are always very well dressed, I like their high heels....lol.... I can NEVER wear those killer heels & over 8 hrs! ???? Boy... does that mean I cant work in the bank?
One of my friend was from engineering, he is going to do an MBA after & intend to enter the financial sector as well.

Job Shortage for graduates from other countries
Will tis affect us? Me & my friends have been discussing this. No it's not our problem yet but it's disheartening to hear stories abt the situation else where. In South Korea , government has been urging firms to hire school leavers & even asking youngsters to by-pass universities!!!! To their graduates , getting married & having children sounds like an impossible luxury... that's until a job has been secured! We are lucky to be in spore.
