Frankly I do not know who the Four seasons or Frankie Valli were before. But my mum LOVES them. Not till now, I never know they were the original singers & composers of songs like : Cant take my eyes off you, Sherry , Big Girls don't cry, & walk like a man. I mean those were like total classics!!!
We are talking about "Cant take my eyes off you" that's like the best song ever...wow!!!! So when mum said she's going with her friends for the concert/ musical, I wanted to go along. She is forever very keen to expose me to "theater culture" so I get to go....lol.... even though the tickets were so X. But mum is paying....lol..... Dad not a fan...lol.....
The show is at Sands Theater MBS. It about 2 & half hr show, & I love every minute of it. It's very different from watching a movie. A live show really gets you. The music & actors the clothes were so close & real. It's amazing & high energy!!!!
Grant Almirall played lead singer Frankie Valli (whom my mum & her friends drool over...lol...) His voice is so good.. puts all the Amercian idols to shame!!! Kenneth Meyer plays songwriter Bob Gaudio- the genius who churns out all these evergreen hits. According to sources, the song which he is most proud of writing is unfortunately not in the production. It's "The sun aint gonna shine anymore -1965. Co-written with Bob Crewe, sang of course by Franki Valli. Hmmm.... must go You tube to check that out soon!!!!
