Have you been confessing online?

This is the favourite pastime of  many  university students now!!! Many are going to  certain Facebook pages to anonymously reveal  EVERYTHING…. !!!!! NUS, NTU & SMU all have their own sites now!!!

Anonymity  is the issue here,  it gives all the courage to bare their inner most secrets & obsessions , vent out their anger or declare their love…. You have to read some of these, it’s really quite interesting!!!
The flip side is, some of these entries are a tag too much, some could be fabricated as well. It’s the page  administrators job to filter with some discretion I guess. It’s not easy- They probably need to establish some sort of guidelines. Still everyone should engage  it with discretion.

    Some of the comments are really far-out!!!People hide behind anonymity & say things they normally wont say. After a while I got tired of all the same old rants!!!

      I think many sporeans are very witty, many comments so comical! I don't dare confess online. Friends will know, or at least they can guess.

    How about confessing in our won blogs? Now blogs are like digital dairies right? But instead of being pte, it's online o everyone can read, but there are millions of blogs so who will come to yours to read your secrets, unless you are blogging about something that's of interest to others.
    So if you are keeping it like a dairy, I think that's safe enough. What u think?

      You kidding right? I've not been to B's blog before td but I heard of it, see here I am. It's not difficult to look for stuff, if you have something in mind!
      Regarding who will come to your blog.... besides friends there are always people who hated your guts, unhappy X boyfriends/girl friends or just strangers who are really free...
      So nothing is safe. If you want to keep a blog, use a nickname & don't reveal so many details!!!!
