Does dating interfer with studies?

Parents will think it does. Especially my parents. They are confused. I remembered when i was in JC or even earlier, I was quite the tom boy. Mum got very worried. I was loud & totally not lady like. Sher'll bring me to buy dresses- I hated them. Shorts & T-shirt was all I wear & not those sexy kind hahha..... The other thing I wore was my JC uniform... it's like a second skin for me. So they got worried!

After JC I've more time & met a girlir girl in uni. She open my eyes to dating. She's like dating alot......lol...... many guys after her! OK lots were dating back in JC days but I'm kinda retarded in that area...hahha... & my gang were all against boys in class so.... but one year later it's different.

Bump into a guy first day in uni & had acrush immediately. Saw his buddy 30 mins later, had another crush.....hhahhaa.... Ya a bit shameless at the rate I was falling !!! Anyway it has been fun.

So does dating interfer with my studies? Not much... I've a system. I can cramp stuff into my head if I want to. That's my special power...hhahaha..... My gfs are always falling in & out of love, another one is acting like she's married to a pimply MCP, my bestie is eyeing a guy that's attached....sigh... ya, lots going on in school!!!! HOpe no parents are reading!!!

    1. Ya balancing studies & dating is tacky.
I came from an all girls school, when I enter poly, I was very distracted by all the attention from the guys. It took me almost a year to kind of settle down.
My studies hurt much. Lucky still got time to rectify. Also lucky I met my bf, & it helps, as we study together. But before that it was tough.

  4. My X broke off with me 1 week before my finals. I didn't do well for any subjects because of it. Thank God I'm still consider one of those hard working students, so I still manage to pass- BUT I could have done a LOT better. My parents were so disappointed with my results. I hated myself for it.
Lesson learnt, boys are over rated, they can be really heartless.

  5. Ladies thank you so much for sharing. We all need to prioritize. Studies before guys- that will not go wrong.
Guys come & go, the degree stays with you till you drop dead...lol...

  6. But you cant control when, how & who you fall in love with. If you can then that's not love, why even live then? Like robots ya? And Even Wall-E falls in love!

  8. If you balance both properly it wont interfere as much. Infact I've seen couples studying together & helping each other. Both benefit.

  9. I seriously think this is an impt issue. This affects many students. And many "would be" brilliant students end up didn't do well because of BGR. If they can learn to balance the 2 , studies & r/s then it's best- but often it's difficult :( They become victims.

    2. Support from friends are impt. If you see your friend "spending" too much time & emotions on someone, just sound her out.
